Michael’s Estate provides an ideal location for Zinfandel with mostly southern exposures, situated on a rolling hillside terrain at 1700 ft. elevation. Here, head-trained, dry-farmed “heritage” vines (transplanted scions from two century-old Paso Robles vineyards) produce small yields of concentrated flavorful fruit.

Our Michael’s Estate Vineyard yields a beautifully pure, balanced, and lifted Zinfandel. We attribute these qualities to the limestone-based soils found only in a few parts of the world. This delightful wine is an expression of its high-elevation site showing the racy and exuberant vibrancy of blueberry and raspberry. Additionally, Zinfandel shows flavors and aromas of clove, fennel, and white pepper. The 2020 vintage displays balance and early-drinking appeal. Enjoy now through 2025.
