2017 Outstanding in the Field

We’ll have it made in the shade. We begin with a tour of the winery and vines, then take a short shuttle ride up a steep hill to the highest point in the entire region. Here in the bright sun with a grand view of the property, we will hear the farmer’s story before taking a short walk to where our table is set. ADELAIDA features Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Viognier and several Rhône-inspired blends; we’ll pour several of them with dinner.  

Clark Staub of Full of Life Flatbread is in the kitchen. Chef Clark is a stalwart OITF co-conspirator. He has participated in some of our most adventurous dinners, such as the Morro Bay event last fall where we put his pizza oven and everything else on a barge and floated it across the channel to our table site on an otherwise inaccessible sandbar. Clark is always up for the challenge, and we look forward to tasting his delicious, wood-fired cuisine on top of the hill!
