ADELAIDA Chardonnay HMR Vineyard 2013
90 points. Vinous, Antonio Galloni - August 2015
"Light gold. Musky pear skin, Meyer lemon and toasted bread on the fragrant nose. Chewy orchard and pit fruit flavors become more energetic as the wine opens up and pick up a hint of tarragon. Finishes with firm grip, an echo of juicy citrus fruits and very good persistence."
90 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2015
Coming from the Adelaida District in Paso, the 2013 Chardonnay HMR Vineyard is a ripe, well-made and thoroughly enjoyable Chardonnay that offers classic orchard fruits, brioche and spice in a medium to full-bodied, supple, forward and easy-drinking style. Aged 10 months in 26% new French oak (a small part was in stainless, with the balance in neutral oak), drink it anytime over the coming 2-3 years
Silver Medal Winner. The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition - 2015

ADELAIDA Chardonnay HMR Vineyard 2010
92 points. Vinous, Antonio Galloni - August 2013
"The 2010 Chardonnay HMR Vineyard is a pretty, round wine laced with juicy, expressive fruit. Layers of melon, pear, butter and a hint of spices wrap around the fleshy finish. This is an especially round, generous style of Chardonnay, but it works."
92 points. Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine - June 2012
"We admit that fine Chardonnay does not leap to mind when we think about Paso Robles, but this very deep and generously filled offering reminds that the HMR Vineyard is a unique site. Intensely fruity and framed with lovely oak, the wine is very well-balanced with plenty of vitality even while being rounded and fleshy in feel. While its youthful directness must be noted, there is no question but that it will gain with age and that it should be held for a couple of years."
