Join us for a retrospective of Adelaida’s most recognized wines as reviewed by Robert Parker Jr., Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar). Your host, Adelaida’s wine educator, Tony Hermann has put together a selection of 9 medal winners, from 8 different vintages, including some exciting new releases and Library wines that are his personal predictions for top honors.
A quick look at the wines to be presented will be a revisit of the 2003 Pinot Noir Reserve HMR Estate (Tony’s pick), 2006 Pinot Noir HMR Estate (Wine Enthusiast 94 pts), 2006 Syrah Reserve Viking Estate (Parker 94 pts.), 2009 Syrah Reserve Anna’s Vineyard Block 6 (Parker 93 pts.), 2009 Zinfandel Reserve Michaels Estate Vineyard (Tony’s pick), 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Viking Estate (Tony’s pick), 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Viking Estate (new release, Gold-Houston International Wine Competition).
In addition, Tony is planning a surprise, two special “Grand Dames” served from Magnum, to be announced at the event. Wines will be partnered with matching appetizers, prepared by Guest Chef Charles Paladin-Wayne.
This event is a sit down affair in the Adelaida barrel room and is limited to the first 36 guests. Wine Club $36, Non Wine Club $45.
