"Much more exotic, perfumed and tropical, the 2015 Finder Estate sports a medium gold/vibrant color to go with lots of sautéed peach, pineapple and spring flower aromas and flavors. It's beautifully fruit forward, has excellent purity and a great finish. Drink this outstanding 2015 in its youth while the fruit is front and center."
The finished wine reveals an aromatic zephyr of best-of-summer peaches, wildflower honey, chamomile and wisteria blooms ultimately transitioning to sensuous flavors of sweet melon, toasted nuts and tangy tangerines in a long and rich mouth watering climax. Drink now through 2018.

Located in the lower elevation sites of Anna’s vineyard natural shade is provided by the nearby hills allowing the fruit to express an ideal balance of ripeness and natural fruit acidity. The dominant grape is Roussanne, a russet colored variety possessing beeswax and peach-like aromatics with a memorable mouth-coating texture. It is one of the rare white varieties capable of gaining complexity with age. Viognier is also prominent contributing an enticing perfume with hints of honeysuckle and stone fruit enhancements.
2015 produced historic low yields due to cool weather during spring pollination; however, the resulting wines benefited from the flavor concentration of the small crop. Grapes were hand harvested at night, cluster sorted, and gently bladder pressed, the juice settled in tank and fermented with native yeast in barrel, a mix of previously used with a small percentage in new French oak. Following a natural malolactic conversion the wines remained in barrel for 18 months gaining richness and complexity from occasional lees stirring.
