"The impressive 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature has lots of crème de cassis, toasted bread, graphite and licorice characteristics, with some chalky minerality showing more with time in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, elegant, silky and polished, it has fine tannin, is nicely balanced and is an impeccably made wine." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (August 2016)
Mountain grown fruit, chalk-rock soils, south facing exposure, and a marine influenced microclimate, are the elements needed to produce a monumental Cabernet Sauvignon. With elements of a high toned violet nose, black currants, scorched earth, and sweet cedar, this wine is still evolving. Drink now through 2029; recommend decanting and aeration for immediate gratification.
AROMA: Violets, cassis syrup, blackberries, graphite shavings, burning ember
FLAVOR: Black cherries, espresso roast, dark chocolate, cedar spice
