Bobcat Crossing

Planted in 2001, Bobcat Vineyard produces both of Adelaida’s dessert wines. Bobcat Crossing is planted with three Portuguese grapes—Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cão, and Souzão—to produce a Port-Style wine (Don’s favorite). The soil bears sandy and loamy characteristics. The vineyard sustains hotter temperatures than the other sites, averaging between the mid-90s during the day to the low 50s at night.
