ADELAIDA Version Red 2012
90 points. Wine Enthusiast - December 2015
"This blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 23% Syrah, 9% Cinsault and 3% Counoise offers boysenberry, hot bricks and condensed violets on the nose. The palate is quite pleasant with olallieberry jam flavors alongside sanguine elements and dark slate on the edges, altogether quite light and easy to drink." Matt Kettmann

ADELAIDA Keeper 2011
91 points. Wine Enthusiast - September 2014
"Mourvèdre provides a leathery backbone to an otherwise very fruit-driven wine from pioneering Paso Robles producer Adelaida. Graphite and pomegranate lead the aromas. On the palate, the medium-, almost light-bodied wine features purple flowers, raspberry, and more pomegranate, with a surprisingly strong acidity that delivers refreshing verve. This versatile wine could pair with everything from Chinese food and tacos to marinated skirt steak and chicken soup." Matt Kettmann

"Complex and elegant, with bright, brambly aromas and flavors, the 2011 Version Reserve checks in as a blend of 50% Mourvedre, 38% Syrah and 12% Grenache. Blackberry, raspberry, underbrush, spring flowers and spice all emerge from the glass and this medium to full-bodied blend has juicy, lively acidity, solid overall balance and plenty of length. Enjoy it over the coming 7-8 years. Drink now-2021.  This high-quality Paso Robles estate consistently produces a bevy of superb wines."

ADELAIDA Version Red Anna's Vineyard 2010
90 points. Vinous, Antonio Galloni - August 2013

"The 2010 Version (Red) is an attractive GSM blend. Darker fruit notes dominate in the Version 2010, one of the richer, more explosive wines in the Adelaida range. Firm tannins support a wine that isn’t ready to show all its cards just yet. Unlike the vast majority of these wines from Adelaida, the Version 2010 could benefit from another 6-12 months in bottle. Sweet mentholated and spiced notes wrap around the deep finish. The blend is 37% Mourvédre, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 13% Cinsaut."
90 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2013
"A Rhône styled blend of 37% Mourvédre, 28% Grenache, 22% Syrah and the balance Cinsaut, the 2010 Version Glenrose Vineyard is a medium-bodied, balanced effort that gives up quality sweet red berry fruit, underbrush, herbes de Provence and dried flowers. This lively, fresh 2010 is ready to go now, yet should continue to drink well through 2017. Drink now-2017." Jeb Dunnuck.

ADELAIDA Version Red Anna's Vineyard 2009
92 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr.  - August 2012

"Juicy dark cherries, tobacco, incense and cedar emerge from the 2009 Version Red Anna’s Vineyard. A distinctive floral quality to the Version Red, probably from the Grenache, gives the wine an attractive, sensual dimension to its personality. A long, silky yet intense finish rounds things out in style. The blend is 44% Mourvedre, 23% Grenache, 20% Syrah and a drop of Cinsaut. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019."
92 points and Gold Medal winner. Los Angeles International Wine Competition - June 2012

ADELAIDA Version Red 2008
95 points. Los Angeles International  Wine & Spirits Competition - June 2011
90 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2011

"The 2008 Version is an absolutely delicious, joyous red bursting with fruit. A bright vein of minerality underpins dark cherries, flowers, licorice and sweet spices, all of which come together nicely on a mid-weight frame. It is a relatively floral, red fruited wine considering the prevalence of Mourvedre and Syrah in the blend." -Antonio Galloni
91 points. Wine Enthusiast - November 2011
"With this Mourvedre-dominated wine, Adelaida vies for supremacy in the red Rhône-syle competition.  The wine is rich in jammy cherry, raspberry and blackberry jam fruit, with smoky oak overtones and lots of exotic spices.  The richness is balanced by acidity and firmly sweet, ripe tannins.  An impressive wine to drink with Indian food, or a steak wtih french fried potatoes."

ADELAIDA Version Red 2007
92 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2010

"The serious, Provencal-inspired 2007 Version, a blend of 42% Mourvedre, 22% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 9% Counoise, and 7% Cinsaut, has a beautifully complex nose of roasted herbs, black cherries, black currants, lavender, and tobacco leaf. It’s a dead ringer for a peppery southern Rhône. Silky, round, full-bodied flavors coat the mouth, but are never heavy or cloying. This is a beauty to drink over the next 5-6 years."
Best in Class. San Francisco International Wine Competition - 2010

ADELAIDA Version Red 2006
91 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2009

"The sexy 2006 Version Proprietary Red (38% Mourvedre, 28% Syrah, 22% Grenache, and tiny amounts of Counoise and Cinsaut) offers seductive notes of kirsch liqueur, black currants, forest floor, loamy soil, pepper, and spice. This Mediterranean-styled red is broad, full-bodied, and savory without a hard edge to be found. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. It is an excellent bargain for a wine of this quality. "

ADELAIDA Version White Glenrose Vineyard 2006
91 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - June 2008

"The superb 2006 Grenache Blanc/Roussanne from Glenrose Vineyard possesses classic notes of honeysuckle, rose petals, flowers, and tropical fruit. Impressively deep, rich, and dry with a gorgeous texture, this beauty can be drunk now and over the following two years."

"The 2005 Version Proprietary Red Wine Glenrose Vineyard is a combination of 40% Mourvedre, 27% Syrah, and small amounts of Counoise, Grenache, and Cinsaut. Its complex Cotes du Rhône-like bouquet includes scents of figs, plums, cherries, underbrush, earth, and forest floor. It is an outstanding example of a Rhone Ranger made in a French style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years."
Double Gold Medal winner. The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition - 2008

ADELAIDA Version Red 2004
90 points. Wine Advocate, Robert Parker Jr. - August 2007

"The medium ruby-hued 2004 Version Proprietary Red is a blend of 34% Mourvedre, 22% Syrah, 18% Grenache, 14% Counoise, and 12% Cinsaut from the Glenrose Vineyard. This is a complex, dark ruby-hued red displaying a big, sweet nose of spice box, pepper, plums, currants, loamy soil, and leafy vegetation. Lush, round, and nearly opulent, this is a seductive, fairly priced effort to enjoy over the next 3-4 years. Bravo!"
