An outstanding wine, especially for the price. Marketed as an "everyday" red table wine, this wine easily turns "everyday" into a rather special day. Soft and approachable on the palate, with hints of blueberry, cocoa, ripe strawberries and just a hint of nutmeg on the nose. Fantastic blend.

What is most striking about this excellent wine is its versatility! This is no 'kitchen sink' wine; it is skillfully blended, and pairs so well with a wide variety of foods. We enjoy Recess Red with everything from pizza to roasted and grilled meats. Perhaps Paso's best value!

It was an excellent value, while it lasted. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last 4 or 5 cases!

It works well with almost any food...hamburgers, grilled chicken, pasta...very versatile and satisfying!
