A Valentine Event at Adelaida Cellars
Explore the intricacies of chocolate making while tasting a selection of single origin chocolates from Madagascar, Ecuador, Hawaii, Columbia and Venezuela. Guittard Chocolate Company, the 150 year old San Francisco premium chocolatier, will be joining us for an inaugural event designed to show the flavor affinities of the cocoa bean and Adelaida’s vineyard designated wines.
Extending the Valentine celebration to the weekend, we begin with a welcoming buffet of light brunch dishes, followed by a symposium on chocolate presented by Guittard’s Allan White, ending with a unique pairing of five single bean varieties with matching premium and Reserve level wines from Adelaida’s cellar. Resident Wine Educator Tony Hermann will guide you through the wine and chocolate pairings.
Held in the Adelaida barrel room and limited to 36 guests, this will be a rare treat for wine aficionados and chocolate lovers alike!
